Fund, reserve, settle
Fund your wallet, reserve campaign funds, and release the agreed amount to the creator.
Feature · Payments & payouts
Businesses fund a tenant-scoped wallet, reserve campaign funds, and settle the agreed amount to a creator — captured on an append-only, balanced ledger. Creators see available, pending and total earned. Payments currently run in a provider sandbox (test mode).
For businesses & creators
Fund your wallet, reserve campaign funds, and release the agreed amount to the creator.
The settlement amount is server-derived from accepted terms and can never be paid twice.
Every movement is recorded in integer minor units with explicit currency — no balance is minted.
Creators see available, pending and total-earned amounts with campaign-linked history.
Payout identity and bank details are collected by the payment provider's hosted flow, not stored in KIN Create.
Invite response, reserve and settlement are idempotent, so retries never double-charge.
Step by step
Add funds to your tenant-scoped business wallet in the sandbox flow.
Reserve the agreed amount so it is ring-fenced for the collaboration.
Review and approve the creator's deliverables in the campaign.
Release the server-derived agreed amount; the creator's wallet is credited in the same transaction.
Payment features currently operate in a provider sandbox (test mode). No live-money processing is offered yet, and the interface makes that explicit. The ledger and flows are built so that enabling real payments later is an operational change, not a rewrite.
Capture, release and refund states post to an append-only, balanced ledger using integer minor units and explicit currency. The creator wallet credit is written in the creator's tenant in the same transaction as the escrow debit, so balances always reconcile.
Where results are reconciled against canonical evidence, mismatches enter an owned exception queue and can never close silently — they resolve only with a mandatory, audited reason.
